Oil Absorbing Cartridges

The Filter Factory OA Poly cartridges are designed to capture large amounts of contaminants from a process stream. This unique rolled polypropylene media combined with advanced construction techniques make this the ideal cartridge where high dirt loads are present. Microfiber polypropylene is known for its ability to absorb oil and trap contaminants in its unique pore structure. With the molded vinyl plastisol ends sealing in existing vessels is effortless.

Oil Absorbing

A OA-R-10 cartridge can absorb most of the oil in 400 gallons of liquid containing 1000 ppm of oil. This is based on a flow rate not to exceed .5 gpm. The heavier the oil the more the cartridge will absorb by weight. Lighter oils do not adhere to the polypropylene fibers as well and may "wick" out easier. Higher flow rates will also reduce the cartridges' ability to absorb oil.

The Filter Factory OA Poly cartridges are available in lengths up to 72". Standard diameters are 2.5", 3" and 4.5". Polypropylene cores are standard, both 1 3/32" id and 1 5/8" id are available

The Filter Factory OA Poly bags are designed to capture large amounts of contaminates from a process stream. The unique multi-layered polypropylene media combined with advanced construction techniques makes this the ideal filter bag where high dirt loads are present. Microfiber polypropylene is known for its ability to absorb oil and trap contaminants in its unique pore structure.
A OA-2 bag can absorb most of the oil in 400 gallons of liquid containing 1000 ppm of oil. This is based on a flow rate not to exceed 10 gpm. The heavier the oil the more the cartridge will absorb by weight. Lighter oils do not adhere to the polypropylene fibers as well and may "wick" out easier. Higher flow rates will also reduce the cartridges' ability to absorb oil. oil bags
